"This is my first marathon and Sophie has been amazing! I got an injury with four weeks to go and she has treated me and also helped me stay confident that I can do this.
"I have always wanted to do the London Marathon and this year it was meant to be.
"I am running for the British Deaf Association (BDA) and I am doing this to support my nephew, Lewis, who is profoundly deaf.
"The BDA are a great support for the deaf community.
"They only have me and one other person running the London Marathon for them."
