Graduate Sports Therapist/ MSK Physiotherapist/ Level 5-6 Massage Therapist 

 

SV Sports Therapy Ltd is a passionate world class sports injury clinic, experts in treating body pain, specialising in assessing, diagnosing and treating muscle, joint, bone and nerve injuries, founded in 2010, based in Loughton, Essex.

 

Due to recent company expansion, we are looking to enhance our bespoke team and recruit a competent and caring Graduate Sports Therapist/MSK Physiotherapist/ Level 5-6 Massage Therapist. This expert will play an essential role in assisting our clients to ensure they reach their health goals and relieve them from pain, whilst delivering the superior care and expertise, so they achieve their daily or sporting goals.

 

Hours are flexible

 

Remuneration is per client appointment, based on your experience and qualifications – with scope to increase this.

 

The opportunity to develop both personally and professionally within SV Sports Therapy Ltd to Senior Sports Therapist – responsibility and remuneration will reflect this.

 

Role and responsibilities:

• To work as an autonomous practitioner, within the scope of practice and deliver a quality clinical service, meeting the strategic needs of the clinic

• Working with clients, face to face for examinations, assessment, and ongoing treatments

• To develop and foster productive relationships with all clients

• Assisting with the diagnosis of sports injuries that affect the musculoskeletal system 

• Assist with rehabilitating clients to allow them to feel comfortable and cope in their day-to-day life

• Provide expert assessment and advice to help manage client pain, disability, and injury 

• Developing exercise and treatment programs that minimise risk of injury

• Liaising with clients - previous and potential via phone 

• Generating referrals from existing clients to grow your professional client base

• Assist with the development and expansion of SV Sports Therapy Ltd

• Maintain Continued Professional Development profile

• Working with SV Sports Therapy’s 3 local charities and other charities, participating in annual workshops and events

• Commitment to assisting clients to improve their health and wellbeing

• Ability to challenge themself

• Willingness to learn, grow and develop themselves individually 

• Excellent communication skills both in a team and on a one-to-one basis

 

Qualifications and Experience:

​

• Degree in BSc (Hons) Sport Therapy, Physiotherapy

• 1 year Graduate experience working in a professional sports injury clinic

• Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a range of clients

• Evidence of regular Continued Professional Development portfolio

• Relevant registration and public liability insurance with SST, CSP, HCPC

       Desirable, not essential:

• Experience working in a sports team as a sports therapist/MSK physiotherapist/ massage therapist

• Dry Needling qualification

• Mat Pilates qualification

• Cupping qualification

• Strength and conditioning qualification
