Here at SV, we love to serve lots of Ultra marathon runners and athletes.
What is 'Ultra' Fit?
Being in the best shape you can be for long runs, races and Ultra marathons!
'Maintain'
Purpose - To keep an athlete healthy, functional, and performing well, and to prevent injury or recurrence.
We invite you to our bespoke Clinic for a Prehab (preventative) appointment.
What does this involve?
Body assessment - An assessment of your body mechanics - how is your body moving? Which muscles are strong and which muscles could benefit from getting stronger? Which areas are mobile and which areas could benefit from increased flexibility?
Treatment plan - We will create a bespoke treatment plan tailored to your needs and goals
Advice - We treat each client in a holistic way - from discussing your sleep hygiene, nutrition, training plan, recovery days and work environment. We will discuss some of our top tips with you
'Rehab'
Purpose - To restore function after an injury or surgery and safely return the athlete to sport.
We serve clients in Clinic for running injuries and support for niggles. Once our Therapists have assessed and diagnosed the issue, they will devise a specific treatment plan tailored to you.
Common running injuries we treat:
Knee injuries - ‘runner’s knee (patella pain), ITB syndrome, meniscal injuries, ligament injuries
Hip injuries - hip impingement, hip flexor tendinitis, hip bursitis
Muscle strains - hamstrings, calves, quads and hip flexors
Lower back pain - joint stiffness, disc injuries, sciatic pain, muscle weakness
Which sports massages do we offer, and what are their benefits?
Maintenance sports massages are a must, especially for the demands of an ultra marathon or race! It's like a regular ‘MOT’ - keeping your body in top condition, helping it to stay fit and healthy. Our bodies need regular maintenance just like cars, in fact we need MORE!
A pre-ultramarathon massage prepares the body physically and mentally for every race ahead
A post-ultramarathon massage will help to aid the recovery of your entire body, physically and mentally

Come to see us for some strength and conditioning exercises, it's not all about the running!
Book in online for a pre and/or post-ultramarathon massage
Find an experienced Ultra marathon coach or ultra runner, get advice and/ or a plan to work with
Download a running app, such as Coopah or Runna
Rest!
