Here at SV we serve lots of Ultra marathon runners and athletes.


What is 'Ultra' Fit?

Being in the best shape you can be for long runs, races and marathons!


Maintain

We invite you to our bespoke Clinic for a Prehab (preventative) appointment.

What does this involve?

  • An assessment of your body mechanics to check all is in working order.

  • Postural assessment to identify any imbalances or areas for development such as lower back, shoulders, hip or knee pain.

  • We can create a bespoke treatment plan for you - a combination of hands on manual treatment and corrective exercise techniques.

  • Advice on taping to support ongoing niggles.

  • We will also assess any past injuries, niggles or conditions which may affect your running journey.


Recovery/ Post treatments:

  • Rest!

  • Come and see us for a post ultra marathon massage to aid recovery

  • We can give clients bespoke stretching exercises to action at home


Do you know the benefits of Sports Massage? 

Maintenance sports massages are a must especially for the demands of an ultra marathon or race!

Give yourself a regular 'MOT' to preserve your body, so it is fit and ready to take on every race you want to and not based on how your body feels.

It is super important to prepare the body physically and mentally - Our bodies need regular maintenance just like cars, in fact we need MORE!  


Rehab

We serve clients in Clinic for running injuries and support for niggles and will devise a specific treatment and plan tailored to you.

  • Come to see us for some strength and conditioning exercises, it's not all about the running!

  • Find an experienced running coach or ultra runner, get advice and/ or a plan to work with

  • Download a running app, such as Coopah or Runna
