What is Marathon Fit?
We invite you to our bespoke Clinic for a
Prehab (preventative) appointment.
What does this involve?
Assessment - An assessment of your running mechanics, to check all is in working order. We will also assess any past injuries, niggles or conditions which may affect your training and performance on the big day
Identify - Identify any imbalances or areas for development such as painful knees, weak ankles, hips or lower back tightness
Treatment plan - Create a bespoke treatment plan for you - a combination of hands on manual treatment and corrective exercise techniques
Treatment plans will most likely fall into either or both of these categories:
Sports Therapy

For a sports injury - we will assess, diagnose and treat it.
Common injuries include:
Knee injuries
Muscle strains
Lower back pain
Achilles tendinopathy
Calve strains
Hip injuries
A maintenance Sports Massage
For when your muscles feel tired, tight and overworked.
Maintenance sports massages are a must for runners! Give yourself a regular 'MOT' to preserve your body, so it is ready to take on the demands of running long distance.
It is super important to prepare the body - Our bodies need regular maintenance just like cars, in fact we need MORE!
Recovery/ post treatments/ advice:
