How well do you know our Annabel?

1) What sport do you do and do you train with a club?

I train with Harlow Triathlon Club.

2) Why have you chosen this club?

Triathlon has always interested me after competing at county and national level swimming. My cycling and running is a little behind on my swim times but it's a new challenge for me. I always believe in pushing myself. I have found it difficult this year to train after getting ill on a charity challenge so this is just the push I need to bring back my motivation and determination.

3) What are the advantages of being a member of this club?

  • Great coaching in both swimming and running as it is a joint club with Harlow Running Club

  • A lovely friendly club for all abilities

  • Members attend lots of competitions in both aquathlon and triathlon so you are not alone at any competition.

4) What are your goals for the next 12 months as a club member?

To compete at the sprint triathlon distance and improve my 5k run time. I want to get under 30mins for 5k before christmas. My 5k PB at the moment is 32:58.

5) Why would you recommend this club to a friend?

When you join Harlow Triathlon Club, you are automatically a Harlow Running Club member which gives you access to all of the club training sessions. Everyone has been so friendly which really helps to push you forwards to achieving your goals.
