Knee injuries and some exercises that can help to strengthen the joint and reduce injury


 

The knee is the largest joint in the body. It plays an important role in movement related to carrying the body weight in horizontal (running and walking) and vertical (jumping) directions.

Knee injuries we commonly see include iliotibial band syndrome (ITB), cartilage problems and ligament injuries.

This short presentation will briefly cover the anatomy of the knee, knee injuries, and some exercises that can help to strengthen the joint and reduce injury.
