SV provides sports therapy support at Harlow 10... and Sophie and Annabel run it!

We would like to say congratulations to everyone who took part in the Harlow 10 race on Sunday 9 September. It was a great day and the SV events team were busy all morning providing pre and post event massage and sports taping.

However, we weren't only at the event for all those tired legs; SV therapists Sophie and Annabel also ran the race!

It was Annabel's first 10 mile race and she completed it in a time of 1 hour 53 minutes. She was anticipating 2 hours so was very pleased even considering the hills that just kept coming! Who knew that Harlow had so many?!

Sophie is currently training for the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 14 October and used the race as a training run. She absolutely smashed it in a time of 1 hour 28 minutes. It looks like she's on for a fantastic half marathon time in October and it's all in aid of St Clare Hospice.

We would like to say thank you to our partner, Harlow Running Club, for inviting us down to such a wonderfully organised event. We look forward to helping out with future events.

Race director, Paul Schroder, had this to say about SV:

"Harlow Running Club were really pleased and massive thanks to SV Sports Therapy for supporting the event this year. SV raised even more funds for the two amazing charities that we support: Kaleigh's Trust and The Chocolate Run."
