Emily had a super day serving at the Pedal For A Purpose Event for Haven House Children's Hospice last Saturday 23/09/23. The event in total has so far raised just under £18,000!
Based in Woodford, Haven House Children’s Hospice cares for seriously ill babies and children by creating a loving and warm environment for them and their families while they go through the toughest of times. This Saturday, they held their first Pedal for a Purpose event on Saturday 30th September, where cyclists could take part in a 5k, 10k, 25k or 55k bike ride starting and finishing at the amazing facilities at Haven House children’s hospice itself.
Naturally, there were some tired legs after a challenging trail through Epping Forest and some tough hills to climb, so SV Sports Therapy were on hand to provide some much needed sports massage treatment and injury advice to the riders after their respective events.
Each rider received a 15-minute tailored massage treatment and we were able to answer any questions they had about anything sports therapy related.
It was great to be able to help and serve these riders who were challenging themselves for the most amazing cause!
