Here at SV we love to serve Martial Artists and our Senior Physiotherapist Reka (a Martial Artist herself) would love to serve you and support you.
What is 'Martial Arts fit'?
Being strong, fast, and resilient, while also building endurance and mental focus to react instantly when needed. It creates a more confident and stronger version of yourself. Martial Arts is not just about kicking, it takes great skill and accuracy in each form.
How?
Maintain
We invite you to our bespoke Clinic for a Prehab (preventative) appointment.
What does this involve?
An assessment of your body mechanics to check all is in working order
Postural assessment to identify any imbalances or areas for development such as back, shoulders, hip or joint pain
We can create a bespoke treatment plan for you - a combination of hands on manual treatment and corrective exercise techniques.
Advice to support ongoing niggles
We will also assess any past injuries, niggles or conditions which may affect your Martial Arts training
Recovery:
Come and see us for a maintenance massage to aid recovery
We can give clients bespoke stretching exercises to action at home to improve balance and increase flexibility to reduce the risk of injuries occurring.
Do you know the benefits of Sports Massage?
Maintenance massage can be a great tool for martial artists to stay healthy, recover faster and prevent injuries.
Give yourself a regular 'MOT' to preserve your body, so it is fit and ready to take on every challenge and be ready to react at any time.
It is super important to prepare the body physically and mentally - Our bodies need regular maintenance just like cars, in fact we need MORE!
