Did You Know...? Sophie was part of Challenge66 - helping Andy McMenemy to achieve 66 ultramarathons

Sophie Vowden with Andy McMenemy on Challenge66

In 2011, SV's Sophie Vowden travelled across the UK as part of Andy McMenemy's Guinness World Record attempt to run 66 ultra marathons in 66 UK cities in 66 consecutive days, and in the process raise lots of money for ABF The Soldiers Charity.

Sophie was Andy's lead sports therapist and she helped him cover a whopping 2,050.62 miles!

Plus Sophie ran her first marathon with Andy on day 65 in Ripon, Yorkshire with the Army.

We are pleased to report that the challenge was a success: Andy achieved the world record and raised thousands of pounds for ABF.
