A heartfelt farewell from Chris

Chris Snipp

It is with a heavy heart that I must announce that I will be leaving SV Sports Therapy at the end of August. This has been a strenuously considered and difficult decision to make, but it is one that best suits the likely course of my life in the next couple of years.

I have unfortunately reached that age where it is now time to sail with my head rather than my heart, and to consider mine and my fiancée’s futures (as well as any others that may join our family in the next couple of years).

With that in mind, I will be moving into a career teaching secondary school science and will be leaving the world of sports therapy behind for the time being.

It is difficult to know what to say at times like these. However, one thing that has to be said is ‘Thank you!’

Thank you to each and every one of you that has made my time at SV Sports Therapy so magical. I have treasured each and every moment spent with every one of you, from time in clinic, time at events, and even the rare social occasion, you have all made it an experience to remember.

Of course, I would also like to thank Jess for being such an amazing therapist, co-worker, and friend. Jess is incredibly knowledgeable, skilled, compassionate, hard-working, and truly cares about our clients at SV Sports Therapy. Without her I certainly would not have managed to keep on top of everything involved with keeping SV ticking along, as well as my own clinic in Kent, in Sophie’s absence.

Another thank you to Liz, our social media and website person, who helps to keep us heading in the right direction from behind the scenes, and allows us to keep you all informed and up-to-date without taking us away from our commitments in clinic. Liz is another truly astounding individual and I am immeasurably grateful for all her help during my time with SV.

And finally, Sophie… Thank you Sophie for giving me the opportunity to work in an environment where I have felt appreciated and valued, and where I have been given every opportunity to grow and evolve. Thank you for your dedication and continued passion, not only for the profession to which you are a huge asset, but to your clients and your fellow therapists.

You have done amazing things in the relatively short time that SV Sports Therapy has been in operation, and I am positive that you will continue to do amazing things moving forward.

I wish each and every one of you the best of luck for the future and the greatest happiness and success in all that you do.

Chris
