Wow! What a year!
July 2019 marked my one year anniversary with SV Sports Therapy!
I would like to take this opportunity to say what a fabulous first year I've had, working with wonderful clients and an amazing team of sports therapists.
Having graduated and worked as a sports therapist since 2012, I can say that this year has been the best year yet with lots of amazing opportunities, challenges and a fabulous new team to work with.
I have led many SV events this year, including the awesome OCR World Championships (which I am very much looking forward to this year's adventure), and also expanded my skills into chronic fatigue and pain conditions, including fibromyalgia.
However what I am most excited about is my journey into Pilates, having started my mat work qualifications in July with Sophie.
Core strength has always intrigued me - I can safely say I need a lot more practice to develop that control but I am excited to start the journey with you.
To the fabulous clients... I have been so impressed with the adventures, races and challenges that so many of you have been completing over the last year.
The London Marathon was inspiring - we had 54 clients taking part in VLM 2019, raising money for charities close to their hearts. It was great to be part of their journey - and to those that had to defer, I look forward to continuing that journey into 2020.
I would also like to take an opportunity to say here that even though a large proportion of my clients are sporty, I do have a special few who amaze me on a day-to-day basis, dealing with their own challenges that their conditions and injuries throw their way! You are heroes and don't let anything stop you!
I am looking forward to my next year with SV Sports Therapy and to sharing my developing skills and experiences.
Keep challenging yourself - I will be behind you every step of the way.
