Our client of the month this month Phil Wheater. Phil has been a client at SV Sports Therapy since 2014 and has been treated by all of our therapists.
This past month, Phil was selected to play for Wales in the 2018 Grand Masters Hockey World Cup. He, along with 17 other players over the age of 65, travelled to Spain to compete against 14 other countries.
Phil had a great tournament. He put a lot of effort into rehab and training leading up to the World Cup and it showed on the pitch.
He was quick and agile against other players, allowing him to have a positive effect on the field, both defensively and offensively.
Phil played in all six games that Wales had, bringing him up to nine international caps.
Huge congratulations to Phil from everyone at SV on a successful tournament. Well done!
