Alison is proud to be running the London Marathon for VICTA

We would like to introduce Alison Bayliss, who will be running her first marathon next weekend.

Alison has spent two years on the sidelines, cheering on her husband, so she decided that she would give the London Marathon a go this year.

She is fundraising for VICTA, a charity that supports blind and partially sighted children, young people and their families.

Sophie has been treating Alison for adductor muscle tightness when running. She has a final session this week ahead of the big race on Sunday.

Alison says:

"I'm very nervous but Sophie at SV has been incredibly supportive. Not only addressing any physical niggles, but her knowledge and understanding that marathon training is not only a physical journey but a mental and personal one too has been a great help in my moments of 'can I do this'?"
