SV to attend Nuclear Blast and Blackout events in September

SV Sports Therapy is proud to support Nuclear Races for the fifth year running.

Held at Kelvedon Hatch, Nuclear's award-winning, muddy, obstacle course races have to be seen to be believed.

Amazing staff, fantastic competitors and astounding obstacles aside, Nuclear brings something special to their events, with their festival-style event village, boasting great food, respected traders and live entertainment.

On 16 September 2017, Nuclear Races will be holding two separate races: Nuclear Blast and Nuclear Blackout.

During Nuclear Blast, competitors, from novice to pro, will set out in waves to complete as many 5km, multi-obstacle, laps as they can within the 2 hour time limit; pitting mind and body against mud, sweat and tears (of joy of course).

Then, come the evening, competitors will don head torches in order to complete the race in COMPLETE DARKNESS! Guided by nothing but the light on their heads (and the odd, strategically-placed, marshal), racers will attempt to overcome the obstacles and mud, again completing as many 5km laps as humanly possible in the 2 hour time limit.

If that sounds like your idea of a good time, or perhaps even a way of getting your own back on one of your friends for a seemingly forgotten injustice, then head on over to the Nuclear Races website and book your place today!

SV Sports Therapy will once again be on-hand with a team of therapists providing both pre- and post-race treatments, including sports massage, and strapping and taping.
