The Orion Harrier’s Forest Five races are always a delight to attend. The setting for the race, provisions at the clubhouse and the general atmosphere make this an event most welcoming to novice and seasoned runners alike.
Chris from SV Sports Therapy was on-hand throughout the second event in the series in order to provide free injury advice, as well as pre- and post-race treatments to those in need.
A total of 141 runners took part in the race on 1 July 2017 with first place going to Orion’s own Roger Maidment, with a time of 27:18; and the ladies’ first place was taken by Jennifer Ansell of East London Runners with a storming 32:09.
