“Sophie visited me twice a week at home and helped me to get better” - B Barr, knee replacement pati

In September 2011 I had a full knee replacement. My hospital stay was for one week with physiotherapy once a day, then they recommended that I attend an out-patient physiotherapy department twice a week. I could not do this as I was living with my daughter recovering from my operation for the next five weeks. Sophie was recommended to me and I never looked back. Sophie visited me twice a week at home and helped me to get better by exercise and manipulation of the knee and surrounding areas. No pain no gain.

After six weeks I went back to see the consultant and he could not believe that I had a full bend in my knee and spoke to another consultant about this. I let him know if it wasn't for Sophie this could not have happened. I also went to see my doctor, who again, was surprised at the recovery and asked about my physiotherapy. I told him I went private, his words were he has patients 18 months down the line and still can’t bend their knees fully and still in pain – I have no pain. I continued with Sophie for another 12 weeks continuing to get better every day. I have recommended Sophie to others in need. B Barr Knee replacement patient
